Update on Rainwater tank project

The site planning has been completed, and preparations are under way to prepare the foundations.

Project Co-ordinator Adam Cole says, “The next step is to organise a working party to ensure the land is suitable for the tanks to sit on, and that the site continues to be safe. It is envisaged that some landscaping work will be required in places to maintain a safe work area when trains are in operation.”

The water tanks are due to arrive in August, and then the plumbing connections to catch the roof water will be connected. It is hoped this project will be complete by the end of year.

Then all that needs to happen is for the rains to arrive!
