All aboard our next service to the Stanthorpe and the historic Wallangarra!

Join us as we travel to Stanthorpe to visit the 2010 Apple & Grape Festival.

Stanthorpe comes alive with the Rebel FM Street Carnival, Stalls & Entertainment, great Food & Wine and an opportunity to enjoy the traditional Channel 7 Grand Parade as well as the Market in the Mountains, Rides for young and old, Roving Musicians and Bands - and a whole lot MORE!

After the Channel 7 Grand Parade comes the legendary Grape Crush where Celebrities and local identities come together to compete for the title of Queensland Grape Crushing Champion! This event is proudly sponsored by Australian Outback Spectacular 2 - Legends of the Lighthorse.

There are several first class options available, so what not try one of them today.
Prices are for the train trip only or for the trip and lunch included in the one price.

Warwick to the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Festival Special

Depart Warwick Station at 08:00am for a leisurely steam train trip to Stanthorpe, arriving at 10:00am.

Enjoy the hard work as we climb the Silverwood range to Dalveen, before we pass The Summit, the highest QR station, and then we run into Stanthorpe, heart of the granite belt wine country.

From here a free to explore Stanthorpe & enjoy the festivities of the Apple & Grape Festival.

The train will depart from Stanthorpe Station at 4:00pm for a trip back down to Warwick as the sun sets, arriving at 6:00pm.

Lunch

Lunch is NOT included as a part of this package.

Stanthorpe to Wallangarra and return

We leave at 10:30am into granite country and the Rugged National Parks as we make our way to the Queensland - New South Wales Border where we make our stop for lunch at 12.00pm. Enjoy the sights and sounds of a working railway yard, whilst eating lunch.

Train departure from Wallangarra is at 2:00pm for a leisurely steam train trip back to Stanthorpe, arriving at 3.30pm.

Lunch

Let us pamper you, and enjoy the experience of stepping out of you train and straight to your lunch at the Wallangarra Refreshment Rooms Restraurant.

Enjoy the sights and sounds as your crew work to prepare your train for the return journey, whilst you wine and dine on your delicious lunch. This option can only be pre-purchased with you train ticket.

For those who wish to go searching, lunch can also be obtained from one of the local establishments.
